Interview with Tom


JM: How many meals did you get per day?
Tom: 3 meals per day

JM: How would you rate the food?
Tom: All food is prepared in the microwave. This jail has some very bad food. It meets minimum calorie requirements but is not good in taste or selection. Those working on T module eat the same food as staff and it is very good. Fresh prepared as if going out to eat.

JM: Did you have any favorite/least favorite meals?
Tom: I was on the trustee module so I could eat whatever I wanted to from every fresh fruit vegetable or meat known to man to ice cream soda coffee you name it. I ate like a king in there.

JM: Were there any other snacks offered outside of meals?
Tom: There is a very wide variety of item available to buy once a week on the jails commissary. You are able to spend $95.00 a week if you have the funds to do so.
